Though reprehensively unmarked in their own lifespan, Galaxie 500 after emerged as unity of the polar underground groups of the post-punk earned run average; lackadaisical and enigmatical, their minimalist dirges presaged the heighten of both the shoegazer and slowcore movements of the 1990s.
